Car Accidents generally occur when the motor vehicle is traveling at an accelerated rate of speed. The high rate of speed increases the risk of there being serious injuries or fatal automotive accident occurring. If the driver is speeding they could be considered at fault when a car accident occurs. As result of this the families of any individuals that pass away due to the car accident may file a lawsuit against that driver for their negligence. Additionally, if the person does not immediately pass away their innocent party could receive compensation for their pain and suffering while still alive.
Unfortunately, a similar situation occurred in Texas and 6 young individuals passed away when their vehicle was in a car accident. It was reported that a vehicle with six occupants was traveling the roadway when the back tire hit a curb. As a result, the driver lost control of the vehicle, traveled across multiple lanes and crashed into a tree. It was reported that the event took place at approximately 9:30 p.m. All six individuals suffered fatal injuries in the accident. Three of the occupants ranged in age from 20 to 23, and the other three victims were in their teens. At this time, authorities believe that speed was a factor that contributed to the accident taking place.
While car accidents are never fun, we car accidents involve losing so many young people due to a single car accident is a horrible tragedy. The driver of the vehicle also died in the car accident. The families of the other victims may still have the ability to seek wrongful death claims against the driver's estate.
